MODX Cloud Automatically Backs Up Your Sites
A Cloud Backup is a copy of all the files in the public web directory of your Cloud, plus a copy of its database.
Backups count toward the total amount of your account Vault storage that you are using.
Each Cloud is automatically backed up daily. You can configure how many days' worth of backups are kept, from 1 to 30 days, on the Backups tab of the Cloud Edit page:
You can also have Backups created at any time, from a number of convenient places in your Cloud Dashboard. These backups are not automatically deleted.
Archive Clouds are like Backups in that they store a version of your site. However, they function as paused instances that can be easily restarted on demand. Archive Clouds maintain all the configuration settings, web rules, domain records, DNS, and Add-ons, ready for reprovisioning without going through all the configuration steps.
