Moving a Certificate to another Cloud Instance

If you move a Cloud instance to another data center or account, you will need to make sure to move it’s SSL certificate to continue serving content securely:

1. Install the Certificate into the second Cloud
   1. Go to the Edit Cloud page for the second Cloud
   2. Click on the Add-ons tab
   3. In the SSL section, click Create a CSR
   4. Enter the Common Name which matches the Certificate being moved
   5. You will be prompted that a matching Certificate was found
   6. Click OK, and the Certificate will be installed on this Cloud
2. Delete the first Cloud if you no longer need it (a backup is always a good idea if you’re not 100% sure)
3. If you are not deleting the first Cloud
   1. Go to the Edit Cloud page for the first Cloud
   2. Click on the Add-ons tab
   3. In the SSL section, click Delete
   4. Choose the option “Leave certificate available to use on another Cloud”
